I so enjoyed photographing this beautiful family while visiting the central Oregon coast last week. I first met Cori and Toby briefly at their friend's wedding that I photographed a couple years ago, so I was thrilled when they reached out via Instagram and asked if I could do a session for them on the beach. I love that family portrait sessions with young children tend to be so photojournalistic in nature because toddlers and babies just don't have the attention span to sit for longer periods, and really just want to play, so the beach is the perfect spot to just sort of let them explore and get lots of candids. And candids are a good thing with windy, beach hair!
