Magical sunset light in the desert with the awesome Dakin family, visiting their home away from home. The open desert has a very small window of time where the light is warm and glow-y like this, and it's amazing how many photos you can get in that 20 min window! The older the kids, the more "posed" the photos tend to be, but we still played a bit, and I'm loving how their style worked so well for this location. 🌵🤠 .
Growing up, my Dad taught my sister and I to shake hands firmly and make eye contact when you greet someone, and when these two teens jumped out of the car, walked up to me, smiled and greeted me that way, I was immediately taken with all four of them. I so enjoyed meeting you Mackenzie & crew!!
